I?m really not sure why I paint. Maybe it?s just a habit I?ve got into. I used to draw a lot, I?m not sure why I did that either and somehow that led to painting and I?m still at it.

There?s not much else I?m good at and I?m not yet capable of doing nothing all day.

I like a lot of things in this world, not just now but all I can remember, and to pour it all into a painting in my own unique way gives me a good feeling.

I like squeezing paint out of tubes and playing with it and since the government gives me enough money to live on I have the free time to do that.

Painting helps me connect with people ? I get to hang out with painters, sculptors, musicians, all their friends and relations and all the others in the same boat.

I somehow feel more connected to the whole world when I?m painting.
