BC Artists were invited to participate in a non-juried call for work addressing mental health issues art and healing. The objective of the month long group show is to contribute to dialogue on mental health human rights through showcasing artistic expression.

Some of the objectives of Mad Pride include:

- Challenging stigmas of people living with mental health issues.
- Providing a discussion forum and education on these issues.
-To celebate the rich contributions of artists in our community, and their right to self expression and health.
