REDISCOVERY - A Night of Performances and Shamanic Ritual

Julie Parrell and Shannon Rayne come together for a night of performances that combine different perspectives on addiction. Leaving those in attendance to ask themselves important questions. Through a series of interactive live performances, audience members are invited to join the performance artists on a journey of rediscovery, to burn away that which no longer serves us. ‘Rediscovery’ obliterates the lines between audience and participant; poetry and rediscovery; shamanic ritual and performance art so that the line standing between addictions and healing may be burned away.

Audiences will be welcome to participate in the first half of the evening (although participation is not necessary for the enjoyment of the evening). Following a brief intermission, there will be an intimate performance of the work featured in the re/dis/covery art exhibit.
